Another new guy from NorCal

Hi all,
Thank you for having me here at the roadster party. I'm a Z car owner; please don't hold that against me. It has a Chevy V8 in it; please don't hold that against me. I'm a 10 year member of Hybridz.org (this could be the fastest banning in history!).
Just kidding, I'm sure there are lots on Z lovers here. And hopefully the purists here will forgive me. Just so they know, I can appreciate a well done as-factory-delivered restoration just as much as a well executed dream-creation custom. And, just to ease any anxiety, I won't be stuffing an American V8 in my roadster. One ground pounder is enough for me.
I don't own a roadster yet. I'm still doing my research. I thought this would be a great place to get accurate and helpful information. I'm not a noob to the forum communication format, so I'll try to be complete, concise, and keeping within the rules here when I post my noob questions. While I won't be doing a motor swap the roadster will be a "project" car. As my research firms up I'll share with you my plan. Until then my questions may seem a little strange. Please be patient.
In return for your help I'll gladly pass on any knowledge I have gleaned from my 10 year V8Z car adventure to any curious inquirers.
Thank you again,
Dan Juday
