I'm using a Momo as suplied with the vehicle by the PO. I see the hub adaptors on E-bay fairly often.
You can see the wheel in my Avatar, let me know if you want bigger pictures or other specs. Mine is on a 67.5 1600 as well.

It depends on how much you want to spend and material. I have been thinking of a new wheel for my project. Thinking of going with a Nardi wood rim. Did a little looking in to it and I know from other cars they are nice.
Small tip don't wear rings as this will over time dent/chip and lead to a bad things.

Has any one install a Nardi wheel yet? Someone must have done this maybe?

Just my .02

What seats are those? Do they make them in a lowback only?

I MAY think I'm dealing with a small hoarding problem...I have Momo, Luisa (same bolt pattern as Nardi IIRC), Motolitta (the big center bolt circle Alla MG) and Grant GT. The adapters are all different styles, but they all fit. Grant requires you buy 2, one hub bolted to the steering column to go to the standard Grant 3 bolt and to get the right horn contact, and then a thick spacer that brings you up to the 5 or 6 screw GT pattern.
I like the look of the wood, either the classic thin Nardi or the thicker modern wood wheels, leather is nice to drive, and a smaller wheel does make it easier to get in and out if you are tall.

Hard part to find, if you want one can be a Datsun horn button to match the wheel, so if that is important, start there.

No, 2 options
A. you would need the wheel and the 3503 (if it is indeed proper part # for a 311)
B You would get the wheel, the Momo to Grant adapter and a Grant adapter that fits a 311. this would be if Grant made the adapter and Momo didn't.

BTW, If you like the older styles, there are usually some great deals on steering wheels on Ebay, even old wheels hold up well if cared for, and in my case, if completely ignored.
I've had the Luisa for probably 23 years, it was a Volvo R-sport aftermarket wheel, warranty return that was supposed to be scrapped. Had a tiny scuff . Needless to say, I lied, it didn't get scrapped. Has been in at least 4 vehicles and 150,00 miles since, It's starting to get a nice patina, but not worn. I don't think I ever did anything but wipe it clean every decade or so.

I just saw these, kind of cool if you like wood

the hub from momo #3503 fits the early datsuns, Z 510s 210s, so i would asume it would fit the 311s too.
i do like the old style but im looking for a smaller leather wheel, kinda like the new VW GTIs. just like the way it feels.

but thanks for the help Dave :)

If you can get to the link for Alvin's site, he has a whole section of pics on steering wheels.
Cause you don't have to reinvent the wheel to get a wheel, ya know 8)
