Watkins Glen 2011

Post by dbrick »

It's official, Datsun is it!! http://grandprixfestival.com/

Spots are filling up fast for the Tour de Marque, 100 cars max. I spoke to the organizer, registration IS transferable to another qualified Datsun, so if you think you can make it, register now, if things change, I'm pretty confident we can find someone to take your place and reimburse the fee.

It will be, but you NEED to be there!! We've added a distillery and a micro brewery to our unofficial Roadster Booze Cruise, good stuff, pale ale that knocks your socks off.

I got my notification that I am all set for the Tour de Marque and can't wait. I plan to hook up with the DRONEs, if they'll have me! Since this is my first time to the Glen, I am hoping someone will "take me under their wing" and show me the ropes.

Got mine, maybe I should actually work on the 64? George, post a list, and it will be shipped. Might have to go to Mark's and steal it first.

smlibanker, you can come to the Glen and have a wonderful refined vacation and meet some fine people. Or if that doesn't work out, you can hang with us!

Thanks for the offers. When I come across something I need I will ask. Just got the last of my trans parts in. Just need to have my son weld my 5th gear. Have to wait till he gets back from Vegas then I should have my trans back together in a evening.

I was buying domain names for my business, and GoDaddy had bulk pricing, so seeing that WatkinsGlen2011.info was available and I grabbed it. Cost me a whole $1.99 If anyone from DRONE or any other organizers need to post anything, please contact me and I'll set up access for you to get onto the site. I am not talented in any way with HTML, so if anyone wants to run with it, just let me know. It is NOT a commercial venture, but if anyone wants to try to get advertisers or sponsors, let me know, we can put any money toward the event.

I also got ThisOldDatsun.com, just for fun. I think I'm going to try to post all the obscure stuff I've found over the years, some from the old HometownAol and other dead domains.

Woody, Great to meet you today, I believe Pat Freed has an extra registration for the tour de Marque, I can ask. I'll PM you the other info, but you need to act FAST for a place to sleep.
You need to arrive Thursday, things start very early Friday morning.
