Roadster Drive Saturday. 7-1-23. 64 1500. 130 miles.
Beautiful Saturday. Sunny, High 70's.
First to the local "high class" cars and coffee. EXOTICS at Redmond Town Center.
If your not "exotic" you can not get in.
In the heart of Microsoft so lots of Tech kids with their supercars.
The Alpine Renault was a real exotic.
Then to the Seattle area Datsun Club (NWDE) meeting. Good turnout of 6 roadsters and a newly painted 510.
Then finished the day with a rural drive, the favorite Enumclaw loop.

Roadster Drive Today. Saturday. 7-15-23. Lake Cavanaugh Picnic. 244 miles.
7 Seattle area roadsters on a wonderful Saturday drive, car collection viewing and picnic.
Organized and led by David Niess.
Started in Arlington WA. On the way Don A had a big tire blowout from some serious road debris. But only a 25 min delay.
While at the meetup spot a guy stopped and invited us to see his car collection in Darrington.
Turned out to be the Todd Greenwalt Car Collection. Over 50 cars in 3 buildings.
A wonderful stop. Many Fiats , 2 BMW 700 coupes and even 2 Datsun roadsters!
Here is a link to the web site.
https://thegreenwaltcarcollection.com/
Then a 2 hr. drive on nice uncrowded backroads with a stop at Concrete before arriving at Lake Cavanaugh,
where David's in-laws hosted us to a nice picnic with lake views.
BIG thanks to David N for a fine roadster outing.

Alberta’s other Oil…not as Crude. Roadster by one of the many Canola fields in the area. This area is one of the world leaders in Canola Oil production. It’s actually a beautiful sunny morning but the the actual sun is obliterated by the smoke from the record number of wildfires burning in Northern British Columbia, 100s of miles to the west. 10.9 million acres have burned so far in Canada this fires season.

DROPS Roadster Drive Today. Friday. 7-21-23. Mt Baker. 8 roadsters. 304 miles. 5100'
A fantastic turnout of 8 Western Washington roadsters for our fifth annual Mt Baker, Artist Point Drive,
Thanks to Dave N. Tim F and dog, Roy, Ted, Tony E, Spencer and Connie, Logan M with a friend and Logans Dad. for driving.
It was going to be a 13-roadster international record but 5 Canadian Roadsters
had to abandon due to border crossing delay of over 1 hr.!!. BUMMER.
Amazingly we found our favorite parking spots open with room for our 8 roadsters.
Spencer had battery/alternator problems on the return and had to get a tow home.
A big thanks to 4 Bellingham area roadsters for joining the Drive.

While I work every Friday and Saturday I would have enjoyed the trip... a mountain in WA that we've never visited. Course, the engine is in pieces right now, so there's that...

Great Friday night for the local Z Car Club of Edmonton. Had a group BBQ then afterwards we all got in our datsuns, Nissans and Infiniti’s and followed a 90 min route around the city in the evening. Great drive was had by all. Afterwards we all met up to talk everything cars, and about the fun drive.

One of our regular drives. No Roadster today (engine waiting on rings and a wrist pin) but we'll take the Z3 to a local waterfall for a late lunch today... so lucky to have this stuff 90 minutes away.
