Roadster Drive Today. Tuesday. Sept 8. 64 1500. Lake Samish. 260 miles.
Drove North to Lake Samish, south of Bellingham. Sunny. Warm mid 70's.
Nice day but hazy from fire smoke.
Drove some new to me roads and found some good ones to add to the inventory.

Found the only place where you can drive under the Erie Canal on a nice 280 mile trip around western and central NY on Saturday. Had lunch in Sodus Point and hit Canandaigua on the way home.

A rare sight in these parts...two of the same species meeting. Well sort of. Took a short drive in the beautiful sun From St.Albert to Edmonton today. Met up with fellow Datsun/Nissan enthusiasts, Rob, to shoot the sh@# on all things Datsun roadster. Not too many in these parts. Perhaps 1/2 dozen. And very very rare to have two in the same place. South of here, in Calgary Alberta, there are a number of these cars. Perhaps we are the most northern Datsun roadsters in North America haha haha, Both cars are 2000 solex

Nice drive in the Cascades after the fires and smoke. Warm, mostly sunny day.

Stevens Pass. Blewett Pass and Snoqualmie Pass. Got the apples but not the tomatoes!

Took part in the 40th Anniversary Bay to Birdwood car rally.
This event was open to all vehicles and attracted 1681 entrants.
Had a great day, very relaxed, but due to Covid19, no spectators were permitted at either the start or finish locations, only on route :( :(
