Hi Mike,
Think you better send that Tach to Jon F for calibration!! :smt005
Actual 7500 rpm in that roadster of yours means you are picking up motor parts off the street! :smt005 :smt005
Maybe the wind from the top being down blurred your vision!

Ted.
Good to hear from you Ted, hoping your stable of Datsuns all have Tachs accurate to 0.000001 RPM.
Of course you know I meant this accurate when they are parked and not running ... :smt003

Alvin,

Congratulations!
Time to get another roadster so he can have a roadster to go on runs with you!
They aren't going to be any cheaper in another 16 years..... :-)

Or you could sell it when he is 18 to pay for his college. see it can be his college fund, well you can tell your wife that anyways!

Drove 1000yds to attend the local El Segundo Car Show. This is one of the larger Southern California Shows (300+ cars). This year the Roadster won the "Sports Car" Class - the first time a Japanese car has ever done so (nothing more fun than watching the Porsche owners' looks of confusion and horror)!

An extra day of exploring after SHEDD.
265 mile loop from Shedd through the coast mountain range to the Oregon Coast.
West to Florence on HWY 36. N to Waldport on 101. E return to Shedd on HWY 34.
Beautiful weather. Clear on the Oregon Pacific Ocean Coast.

Awesome drive Ted. Just saw a PBS produced "Over Oregon" that featured the coast, and it confirmed my belief that Oregon has the most beautiful coast and beaches I've ever seen.
