Ya, Sundays are kinda tough for me right now as I have a weekly group going on after church, but I do hope to be worshiping the Roadster Gods before too long! I have to make up for all the curse words I spout when the Blaster doesn't make the power I want (yet! I have faith...).

Drove down to the Apex Kart track for some fun..

First time there so I kept getting lost. But it was a lot of fun..

I had an autoX day at Sears Point. Since I was staff I managed to get some real track time. There was a McLaren MP4-12C (or whatever its called) that got a nice but distant view of my taillights for the whole session. I couldn't quite keep up with the Spec 911 Porsche, had I not had a passenger I might have been able to. I was a little disappointed in my driving because I couldn't be the leader, but I was still a front runner in the group, in the oldest car on track.

On Sunday I DROVE 3 Datsuns. I got my Solex fix with the Side-Pipe car and took the S30 and my roadster out too.



The Side-Pipe car fired right up after sitting for months! You can listen to her purr here:

Linda, if it did not come off at 105-110 into a 40mph head/crosswind at SOW, it's not coming off. I made sure the front end is tight. The back edge is what it is until I can get the body fixed, since the hood is nowhere near straight.

Alvin, I don't see wear bars yet.. You going to fix that?
