So, outstanding in its field? We had a nice drive yesterday, but the blaster was nowhere to be seen.

Ya, Sundays are kinda tough for me right now as I have a weekly group going on after church, but I do hope to be worshiping the Roadster Gods before too long! I have to make up for all the curse words I spout when the Blaster doesn't make the power I want (yet! I have faith...). :smt006

I had an autoX day at Sears Point. Since I was staff I managed to get some real track time. There was a McLaren MP4-12C (or whatever its called) that got a nice but distant view of my taillights for the whole session. I couldn't quite keep up with the Spec 911 Porsche, had I not had a passenger I might have been able to. I was a little disappointed in my driving because I couldn't be the leader, but I was still a front runner in the group, in the oldest car on track.

Mike, that hood looks like it could go airborne---is it tied down well enough?

Linda
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Not to be confused with Martha's, 2950 miles due East.

Pumpkin shown headed back to the barn. She got her old stall back this week as Sleeping Beauty is now in the good hands of Steve Pettersen who will revive #520 once again..!

On Sunday I DROVE 3 Datsuns. I got my Solex fix with the Side-Pipe car and took the S30 and my roadster out too.

The Side-Pipe car fired right up after sitting for months! You can listen to her purr here:

Time for new tires!

Linda, if it did not come off at 105-110 into a 40mph head/crosswind at SOW, it's not coming off. I made sure the front end is tight. The back edge is what it is until I can get the body fixed, since the hood is nowhere near straight.

Alvin, I don't see wear bars yet.. You going to fix that?

I ventured out farther than my driveway and did some grocery shopping, and back road cruising in the roadster this weekend.
