seriously though I haven't driven the roadster in a week with the rain/Lemons so I visited ZCG and helped rob tuned a 500hp G35! it was fun

I also polished up some chrome bits after quik detailing her:

I drove my car to Vallejo, out 37 to Sears Point, and back home. I'm going to take it over to Fairfield to go go-carting later this evening. I think the rings are starting to seat now. I've got about 120 miles on the engine at this point.

My car still sits in pieces, BUT I did go by the machine shop, and the new claim is that he'll have it next Wednesday! I'm not holding my breath, but am getting a little excited....

the wife and i ran up to Branson, MO Friday night. coming out of the resturant there were three guys drooling over the roadster.
i answered their questions, and after five or ten minutes i finally told them i better get the wife home.

the wife just sat in the car, as she has heard all that too many times. and i just got in and grinned at her as we drove away.

We DROVE to Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose, then cruised around the neighborhoods to find some over-the-top(at least for me) house lighting:

I drove from Napa to Porterville, and then back to Napa, a little over 600 miles. The engine is all set to race on New Years.

I drove to and from San Jose, but spent most of the weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway, in the roadster. It was trailered down to the track and I put 250ish miles on it at the track. Driving home last night, it was hard to drive freeway speeds since I was used to being flat on the floor with the throttle, or flat on the floor with the brakes. It took some mental adjustments so wouldn't get a speeding ticket.

ZCarGarage, to meet up and see Pete Brock at local Ford/Shelby shop:

Before we left Josh wanted to roll me roadster in his VW Bug, and Rob wanted to roll me in the G20.

It was like the "old days" and we had a blast. Josh let me drive his bug and I was impressed! The shifter was so solid and the car was quick, it dyno'd at just over 100rwhp. We were curious to see how much it weighed so visited the scales near the airport. The bug weighed in at 1920lbs!!!! The roadster was 2120lbs, and the G20 was 2820lbs.

I picked up my new roadster in Queensland, Australia a few days ago. At 10am on Saturday morning my girlfriend and I started the nearly 600 mile drive back to Sydney. We stopped overnight at http://www.mesopotamia.com.au/ which is a great B&B in Kempsey NSW. The next morning we headed off on the final leg of the journey. I got home about an hour ago.
