Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)

Absolutely love the view from the balcony at Big Willow.. That is really cool the the Alfa club took you in!

So a while ago, I had a valve stem fail, and it destroyed a tire. Had the car towed home, and went to get a new tire. But the tires that were on the car are brand new, and they sell out every container within hours of arriving. I was finally able to find a pair, so I changed them out, removed the old rubber stems, and put in 4 new aluminum valve stems..



Washed the car to get rid of the dust, and off to the hills.. Came down the hill to rolling clouds and sunset.. Beautiful afternoon!

Gorgeous ultimately warm day in Los Angeles after some very windy, chilly days recently. So, the whole world was out...
First stop was the Motor4Toys car show, from the Supercar Sunday people. Then off for a brief run up to the mountains with Shant and Josh. Fun day.

It really was a perfect day, temperatures just right, wind just right. Spoiled in southern California.

Took a short drive up Angeles Crest Hwy up to Mt Wilson, possibly my favorite spot to get a birds eye view of the rat race.

I agree never forget to invite local roadster friends. I also think it is a perfect time to setup a cruise soon !!!

I am the worst about this.. I usually do not plan my cruises, just get in the car and go for lunch or something, but I will try..

Pending weather, i'm gonna trek up to Mt Wilson again tomorrow morning, have some new camera gadgets i want to try out. Feel free to send me a pm and i'll send you my cel if anyone wants to meet up. I know its last minute, but weather has been iffy and i just might have a slightly leaky exhaust/intake gasket.

Really wish I could join up on this run but leaving town on a RV trip for the Ventura beaches. Have a nice and safe run! Upper Big Tujunga is a nice run too down to Sunland Blvd in Sunland. Hardly any cars on this road.

Mt.Wilson had chance of thunderstorms, and my fairlady wasn't too pleased with that, so we went to malibu instead.

Hi Linda saw your post about the ride the other day, but this coolant leak needs to get fixed. I dropped of the little one at Skips today so it's in good hands. I'm waiting for the diagnosis (exhaust/intake gasket is my guess). If that sorts itself out by the time you guys ride, i'll be joining you, if not, i might still join you guys and hitch a ride as a passenger / camera man.

Mike, i knew i would miss some amazing views up there! My soft top is sitting around waiting to get installed. When that happens i'll take a few more risks in the clouds. Right now a blue tarp in my trunk is all i have for weather protection.
