Way to go Ted. Wife and I enjoyed a coast drive a couple years ago.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Nice sunny warm drive with Rick (RBmann) east over the Cascade Mts. and back west up the Teanaway river N of Cle Elum.
Mid 80's, 253 miles for me. Got apples and peaches on the way back.
Rick had a drive in the Prowler.
Ted.

I have never heard about that meet before. apparently they meet every month. I will have to check it out sometime after I get my roadster running again.#009 wrote:Went to Old School Meet at Santa Clara last night.
thanks for posting about it. how was it?
I am guessing you may have been the only roadsters. looks like lots of 510s and 240z and the like, maybe a few trucks.

Yup that was me at Norcal FB page. The turnout was ok. Mostly 510s and 240z. The z next to mine is David Carroll's LS2 powered. He was on tv and part of Optima Ultimate Car Shootout. There's another meet at Berkeley tomorrow from 0900-1530 by the Marina. I might show up there too.

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Loved the power, who wouldn't. The clutch, throttle, suspension and shifter were all have the same short throw. The suspension is way too harsh for me so I don't know how Ted drives it long distances. A women in a gas station dropped her phone then ran over to tell Ted she liked his car but my color. One other thing is the windshield top frame is in my line of sight, guess I'll let my wife keep her car.pebbles wrote:So Rick, are you a convert? Thoughts on the Prowler please
