Not exactly roadster related, but it was just announced that F1 racing is returning to the US in 2012, to a new facililty to be built SE of Austin, TX! That roughly two hours from our place, and needless to say, I'm excited, and a bit surprised.
The deal between the local organizers and Bernie's Boys is for 10 years. I'm even more excited about having a world class road facility in the immediate area for club and vintage events. It'll be practically in Pat Horne's back yard, and should be a much better road cource than either TWS, near Bryan/College Station, and TMOS, north of Ft. Worth.
It's going be interesting to watch as this all develops.
