It use to be I could take a lock with the code on the cylinder body and the locksmith's would cut me a key using the bitting code listed for the cylinder code. Now they just want to charge about $40 to make one key from the cylinder itself.
So, I am here to tell you of a vendor that has the bitting codes and can make your keys from the code on the cylinder without needing to have the cylinder. I just received four keys with two different codes for $37.95 and I got the keys in six days. The vendor is located in Australia and both the long and short key worked in the coded cylinders.
