Say hello to my little friend. Sweet deal with lots of xtras. It should fit the bill after proper rebuild.

Uggg...I have two of those just waiting for a car with a missing engine to come along. Let us know how your project comes along.

Well....... Pretty good start. I'm in the getting to know stage. Ohm..wire connections, some progress on engine, both manifolds,P.S.,Alt.,vlv.cover all off and no real surprises so far. A good thing.

You mentioned Bonney Lake. Get the engine from Greg?

Some kid probably late teen early 20's. Chris was his name. Not far off Myers rd. His next project was a 69 Roadrunner he has sitting out back. Think his dads project mostly. Nice guy though. I've got most of the engine torn down. Things look pretty good so far. Intresting engine? All lower mains are 1. It appears cause I dont have it off yet, that all the mains are all integral in a cast 1 piece grid assembly that bolts down at once. The oil pump which is located in the front cover is driven off the removable timming gear which has flats machined in for engagement to pump. All and all , a pretty cool piece.

These go together much like a Chevy V8, there are dots on the face of the crank and cam gears, they should be opposite each other - i.e. lined up as if they were touching if meshed directly together.

Where is YOUR shop?
Where are you at? (your profile is the barest of them all)
Do you have any pictures of your project other than a stock KA photo?
Please post your location.
Please post who is doing your engine work.
What did I miss please?

I'm doubting you'll get much of a response from a 10 year old post.

Yah Tacomaboy has kinda vanished. I think he’s in the “been there, done that and moved on” camp.
