Datsun Mechanic in NJ/NY/PA Anyone Specialize in Roadsters

There are a few items on my 2000 Roadster that are just outside of my realm of expertise to repair myself i.e. tuning/rebuilding the carbs, installing a new starter and basically looking over tha car to make sure it would actually be safe to drive. Does anyone know a mechanic or garage that specializes in Datsuns and specifically roadsters? I'd like to get my car on the road, but will never get it done myself.

Or is there any one reading this who knows how to rebuild carbs and install these starters and would be willing to help out a fellow roadster guy? I would really like to find someone enthusiastic and willing to help me to do it myself. I will gladly pay this person for their time. However, I would settle for paying a mechanic to do it if need be, but I'd rather get the experience myself if possible. I am able to do basic repair and installation, but this beast seems to be a challenge!!

The best contact I can give you is a shop in Bethlehem PA called Neubert's Restoration. He doesn't specifically work on Datusn roadsters, but I think you should call him. He can be reached at 610-868-1888 (he doesn't pick up the phone so leave a message).

My roadster was the first he worked on and he's still working on it. Since then another one popped in. If you have any specific questions you can PM me.

I can recomend Mike Sachs in Fleetwood PA (Just north of Reading). Mike comes to the Glenn every year, he use to drive the 67.5 2L with signatures all over it (It is currently waiting for a body swap). He has axcess to a large # of used parts and several roadsters for sale. his family seems to have been involved in Datsuns since the begining of time. He really knows it all. Also he has always been nice enough to let me hang out in the shop and help out/learn a few things. His # is 610-944-8444.
