Hi

I am a rare member from over in the UK
Would like to commend you all on a great network over in the States
In fact I rely on it as there is nothing this side of the water
I have a 69 1600
Which rolled out of the Resto Garage four weeks ago after 7 years
I have stuck 600 miles on the clock
Pretty good so far
Really is a top drawer driving experience

I don't know how long it has been since it was last driven
It was imported from California in the late nineties
So was expecting a few teething problems
There are a couple so far
I'll post them on the right page

Welcome and please share, pictures and problems are welcomed.
Because it came from California, was it converted to right hand drive or do you just drive it stock?

Thanks for the welcome guys

I'll take some proper photos soon
It's stuck in the garage at the moment with a sunk float
Just trying to sort that out today

We left it left hand drive...to keep it authentic
Ironically my father who did most of the restoration
Is one of the countries masters at designing steering conversions

And the Rob you talk about
I contacted him some time ago
But got no reply
Didn't want to go into pester mode
So I left it
