San Diego Museum Wants Datsuns

Post by Alvin »

Attached is the poster for the upcoming exhibit at the San Diego Automotive Museum. We are trying to get the word out so please pass the posters on to your members, your friends, other clubs, etc.

We will start to move cars into the museum on May 25-26-27 and the exhibit will be officially open on the 28th. The San Diego Museum is planning a Grand Opening on June 12th. As soon as I have more info on that event, I will pass it on to you.

We are still looking for cars for the exhibit so let me know if you have any you want to nominate. The museum is looking for cars "with a story". If you know anyone with a Honey Bee B-210 or some other unusual Datsun model, please let me know. I have also included a San Diego Loan Agreement form if you find one!

Also, if you are planning a cruise to the San Diego Museum, they have parking in the rear of the museum. You need to schedule it in advance so please let me know if you have any interest. If you go as a club, the museum will provide a reduced entry fee of $5 per person. You will need to schedule with the Museum in advance. Don't just go down there and expect it.

Alvin:
Are you the coordinator (curator?) for this event? Who is we? This is a really cool undertaking, and sounds like a lot of work - how did you get involved?
Just curious.
