I was at a meeting a few weeks ago to get a job designing a brochure for a construction/masonry company and they said I didn't have enough large format work in my portfolio. In retalliation I quickly put together a few projects that showed large format projects. One was the cover and interior of a Datsun repair manual.
Ever since I did this, I keep wanted to do something with it. Anyone planning on writing their own manual and need a cover? Any ideas of what I could do with it? The interior page spread shown would be a table of contents of some sort...
Looks cool! I have often thought that a book that delves into the specifics of each model year would be interesting to me (but then again, I like that type of junk). If it were written as a true owner's manual, it would be useful to all of the Roadster owners out there.
Now before anyone starts chucking rocks, I REALLY dig the book by Phil Brooks - and if you don't have one yet, why not?! - and I don't intend to take away from it. It is a fascinating story of the Roadster from inception through demise. I just think that something less historical and more technical would be a good companion piece.
