Spring settling

How long does it take for front springs to achieve the final ride height after they are installed? I know that they tend to ride high for a bit, but eventually "relax" into the proper ride height. I know that Alvin has experience with this after all of his spring escapades...

I put the Nismo fronts on my car and they still haven't settled. I have since found that there were two versions of the Nismo, the ones available now are at least an inch taller than the older ones...

Anyone interested in buying them? TR
