Hello Everyone!

Believe it or not it is not to early to start thinking about Solvang 2010. We plan to have the web site up and running with 2010 information on or about Feburary 1st and begin with registrations at that time. There are a few changes this year that I need to let everyone know about. 1st, the City of Solvang has noticed a "vendor" presence at our event. If you would like to sell or vend anything this year there will be a $50 vendor fee payable the day of the show. Sorry That is the biggest change and I need to get that message out ASAP, the other changes are small and mostly administrtaive in nature anyway and will be liste don the web site.

Soooooo....if you are interested in donating or being a sponsor for the show, please get a hold of us so that we can get you on the website and talk about your involvment. It is easier to know early if your going to want to be listed on our sponsor page so we can integrate your logo info easier.

We are still looking for that magical 100 car year! Lets make it happen this year!

Funny, I was looking at airfare last night.

Jeff, Please sign me up as a sponsor, I'll have some stuff for the raffles, maybe a surprise or two. I have to re-consider the vendor thing, I don't want to have California sales tax issues. Upside, I can walk around and actually see the whole show this year.
I guess I'll be selling out of the trunk of the rental car . It'll feel just like being home in New Jersey. "Psst..Hey buddy, want to buy a set of wires? Go see Vinnie around the corner, it's the grey Town Car"

You could drive and fly her in.

Plan A
Fly in to Santa Barbara or LAX, and just enjoy the show. We drove up to Monterrey on Highway 1 after Solvang and had a blast. Tip: Rent something nicer than a Kia.

Plan B NOT cheaper, but it was my (failed) plan last year before I bought the 64. Buy a second roadster in LA. fly out with license plates drive it for a week in California, then ship the car and fly home. Another Roadster is inevitable, so make it work for you!

Avoid LAX like the plague. Locals know that Burbank (BUR) is the easiest, fastest airport to get in and out of for the Los Angeles area. It is also gives a head start to Solvang.

I think that depends on the $$$ difference.

I have to drive right by LAX every time I go to Solvang. It will add an hour of driving. Just put the top down and cruise.
