Got 3, looking for 4th or all new

Hello all,

I'm finally at a point where I've got the option to finally get my roadster road-worthy again.

One of my first battles is getting it to a roller. For over twenty years now, the car has had 3 of these wheels on it:

I'm not sure if these are a stock wheel or not. I haven't seen them on any other cars that I've searched.
Does anybody know what the model of these wheels was so I can start to search for a forth? If I can't find a forth, does anybody know what I could get for a set of 3 of these?

Are these hard to find wheels that may be worth something, or just some scrap wheels that aren't worth much?

I think those are Appliance Radiator wheels. They are uncommon but you might look for a 240Z with them.

Also look on the backside for a brand name, there were imitations made by a few companies. Some have a multi fit with an oval hole for the lugs, it requires a special washer and maybe a special nut, Linda has these, I think.

If you're having trouble finding a 4th you can very often just get a set (4) of generic meshies with roller tires in a decent size for $250-300 on club4ag.com

No offense, but that needs to be the least of your worries right now. Get the brakes right, make the engine go and solve electrical gremlins. When all is right and the balance of the cosmos is in your favor, that will be the problem to focus on. In time the wheel will find you. All part of the Zen of Roadsterdom...

Ah, but waiting until you need something to start looking for it will only cause delays when you're just oh-so-close. I'm constantly looking for things that I'd like or may need down the road while looking for things and doing things that are currently needed.

+1 on that
I have parts for projects that I want to do some day. And I have bought parts thinking that I will need it eventually. Now I have everything I need except the time to do it!

Well, right now I'm in Chicago, and the car is about 2 hours away. I'm making arrangements to get a flat bed to haul it up. I only have the three wheels, so I need to make it a roller before I move it. Since I'm on idle at the moment, I thought I'd get the search started.

Obviously if I don't find that rim by the time I'm ready to transport it, I will obviously throw something else on it to make it mobile.

I just wanted to know if that 4th rim was obtainable or not, if not then I'll look into all new. I'm not a fan of spending money twice, so I'm not going to buy some cheapies, just to put nice ones on later.

I think I may have found the wheel. SLOroadster, you were correct, they were much more common on the 240z's. Thank You.

Well, I went home to gather all the parts I could find from when I previously started taking the car apart. Turns out, that I DID have the 4th wheel. It was hiding on me in the basement.

The brand is Western Wheel.

I like these wheels, so I think I'm going to keep them. I'll see how they look polished up. I also thought about powdercoating them to match the car paint.

I orginally thought about powdercoating them black (which can look good on a lot of cars) but I haven't seen many roadsters with black rims that I liked.
