New guy from Batavia IL

Hello all,
My name is Chris and I live in Batavia IL. I will be acquiring a 1969 Datsun 2000 in a few weeks from the one and only original owner. Along with it I will be A whole cars worth of spare parts including engine and trans, rear with 5.13, hardtop, and a whole lot more. Car has been sitting for at least 20 years but was painted shortly before it was put away and the frame is solid.

The car has not been started in 12 or so years so I have so work to do along with replacing the whole brake system and hopefully upgrading it a bit. Hope it's OK bounce some questions off you guys in order to get this thing running right. I think the car wil be alot fun once I get it sorted out.

Got the car home this past weekend. Don't look so bad for not being cleaned in 12 years.

Oh yea, and the roadster looks pretty darn good too. Looks like it is very clean to start with!

Yeah that's my garage. I just got the lift to accomadate the Datsun. The car on top is my 1996 Ram Air Trans Am. The driver is my mechanic in training LOL!
