Here is a video with Adam Carolla, look carefully and you will see a racing roadster and driver sprinkled through the video.

That's great footage. Why is it that there is not more available? Also, howcome Corrolla's camera seems so smooth and RC's is always vibrating like a seismograph?

Todd,

There are a couple of reasons the videos are a little different:

1) We made some changes to my camera set up from last year as I was accidently killing my battery. Our new power source was "dirty" and caused our digital overlay to freak out to a certain degree, and I think that is a lot of what you are seeing...The video itself is pretty good if you look past the overlay, and the static it created. If you look at my other videos I think you will see what I mean.

We will have the power issue solved at our next outing.

2) Although I use very expensive and high quality equipment, it is not professional grade, and Adam's set up is better than mine. So his end result is better.

3) My car is a convertable! so we have wind moving past the camera to contend with which is not an issue in a sedan, we get a certain amount of buffeting due to winds up to and above 100MPH. Even though we use a low mass bullet camera, there is still some movement that we cannot contend with.

4) In order to get a good view from my car, and the track I mount my camera as high as possible, These cars are race cars and they do not ride smoothly, with the camera so high in the car there is a certain amount of residual vibration from the car that works like a pendulum. In addition the bullet camera is on a 6" stalk as well, and is subject to a little vibration as well.

As for more available, You'll have to ask Adam that..... I am limited to uploading 10 minutes on YouTube and I take advantage of the full 10 Minutes. I put up the best part of the race, in my opinion.

Glad you liked it.
