I'm finally getting the time to put the front end back together on my '69 2000. The ball joints are good, rod ends and spindle links cleaned and new bushings good to go. I have new boots and grease zerks. Any hints on procedure or problems to avoid? Plan on using torque specs provided in this Forum. If all goes as planned, the front end will be back together, the brakes gone through and the 3.90 rear end installed about the time that Keith Williams gets the carbs back to me (I'd bet on Keith) Thanks for any help. Pat,
There really is not any thing too special about putting the front end back together. You are the bolt guy so you have that covered.

I redid the entire front end on my 675. and you will love the tightness as well as the responsiveness of a refurbished front end. Are you going with stock springs? I highly recommend a set of Mike Young's custom front springs if the budget allows. It sounds like you pretty much have all the bases covered. It is actually harder to take the front end apart than it is to put it back together. In my opinion anyways. Let us know how it goes.
