I Installed the sound deadener and then drilled new holes for the snaps. The sound deadener seals any hole you would drill in the pan. It is like glue. Just put the carpet in with the snaps and take an awl and go through the center of the snap and you have a clear mark where to drill for the snap. Couldn't be easier. At least that worked for me.

$149 and I did the doors and still have plenty left over. 100 sq ft I believe. Amazon.
FatMat has an asphalt smell to it when you open the box but it goes away and goes down nicely and really sticks to the metal.
