This is the 25th anniversary of the Shasta Roadster meet. Many people are planning to attend, along with vendors. Special events have been scheduled for July 10th, and an ice cream social will be held at the host motel on Thursday night, the 9th.

Many owners don't attend this annual event because their cars are not gleaming examples of the Datsun roadster. Don't let your stop you from attending. Bring what ya got and meet a great bunch of people who will be happy to see you.

I have posted contact information to most of the motels in the area on my Calendar of Events page. Camping links have been included if you would rather camp in the Mt. Shasta area.

This kinda dissapoints me as I had everything setup to attend for the first time. I had been out of work for almost 2 months and just recently went back to work (Direct result of renewable energy stimilus! A solar panel manufacturer is retrofitting an old building to produce more panels. I do industrial piping systems.) Anyways, the expedited schedule has me working that weekend, and I need to replenish the bank account with the overtime. I guess there is always next year.

reg'd last week but almost 99% sure we will take the Z up there.
Just can't stand the heat for 6 hrs in the roadster.

Heat?? Must be a California thang.

Frantically attempting to have roadster road worthy to make the trip.

I've been checking the weather for the trip and it looks like it will be much cooler.
Redding and WIllows still show high 90's -100's but for Shasta Friday-Sat it says 80 degrees!!!???

I spent an inordinate amount of time debating and I've decided to take the Z to Shasta.
If anyone needs a free registration to the car show, etc. let me know!
