I need to clean under car better to see becy the oil dump I did on last road trip ... hopefully today will show something . it's warmer today than yesterday so I'll be out doing it shortly . I hope I can close a couple things today . I'm tired of doing the same things over again ... yeah I hear ya Linda . I'll look at that today ....

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
no , because of oil mess down there already from the bolt coming out the oil pan plug thing . soap sprayed and now going to power wash under so I can see better . there's so much room ya know .. hahaha it gets firm now but won't stay .. so going in soon .. I have a few things to "fix" so I'm trying to set up .. haha like that ever helps .. but it's going to be another fun day .. greese stinks !

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
ok one more pls . what's this mean when I pump the clutch and I get millions of micro bubbles in the reservoir ? this in my clutch . then it clears up I'm pumping it again and there's just as many when I pump again #2pic .. wait that's an air leak from somewhere . any number of things can cause this .. too many things . ugh . me and tightening things I swear . I stink at it or I break off a bolt .

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
With any master cylinder you should check inside the car to make sure it is not leaking in to the car.
Check all tube and hose connections to be sure they are tight. Did you use a copper washer between the hose and the slave cylinder? I believe it needs one (fact check anyone?).

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
no I didn't . don't remember one going in anyway .. oh another thing , the master, I switched and it had some shims in it of some kind that I saved , but it didn't seem to need it ? I don't know what they're for actually so I probably shouldn't make that assumption?? and where do this washer go ?( on the slave )

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
found it ! the Hardline to my master is all stripped out . now to borrow a flare tool from Auto zone and new fittings and poof , one down . . . now the e break I've noticed , pulls things when engaged and when I take a screwdriver to move it more it seems to slow tire . But I've tighten up the adjustment bar nuts till uber tight and it still won't move it enough ..
** is there any other spots to adjust that ? if anyone's reading these .

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
Different threads on different topics with correct titles make it easier to search. The mishmosh threads are going to have info that can get missed, so then you don't get your question answered. Idea is to make it easy on readers who check in occasionally, or who don't want to dig out questions.
This thread goes from Quick Small to more involved so it can be hard to follow too sometimes.

I think Lorna needs to put all of her questions and issues into her own single thread, she has created 120+ threads.

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
yeah something like that . idk . I always have allot of questions it seems . I understand that about what you say on the looking up of questions and it pulling up faster kinda thing but ....... are my questions the kind that need pulled up ? haha I mean , you know what I mean .. don't y'all go behind me and delete my threads ? haha I doubt they're helpful to anyone .. ugh . my words get messed up and I'm all over the place . haha who'd follow that ... anyway I'm trying not to bog up or fill up or whatever I can do to things by too many questions . or chat . I'm 50 , you'd think I'd mature out of this by now . ooh I'm 51 !! just had a birthday .. ok well I'll stop and make threads . enough for a wardrobe ..haha

Part of the issue Lorna, it seems, is that your questions are less than precise, you have multiple questions (sometimes almost hidden in plain sight) and you frequently don't answer the questions posed to you in response to your posts.
Clearly, the community is up to helping you, based upon responses so far.
Just please try and make our lives a bit easier!

Re: The Quick/Small/(Stupid?) Question Thread-take 2
yeah .. I'll try better . . I don't mean to be . it seems as I communicate with y'all , it brings up more and more questions . and I tend to get over tenacious on things and with my vocabulary , it's probably almost impossible for y'all to help but yes , somehow you guys help through all that .. I'll keep a better eye on myself and move through this willy-nilly style I have .. thank you for bringing my attention to this again. .mraitch wrote: Thu Oct 25, 2018 2:33 am Part of the issue Lorna, it seems, is that your questions are less than precise, you have multiple questions (sometimes almost hidden in plain sight) and you frequently don't answer the questions posed to you in response to your posts.
