Sorry, but I have tried many times. Know to go to upload attachment to "choose file", but cannot seem to get that to work on my iPad.

Choose file then "choose existing photo" then pick your photo from your photo album and then hit submit.

I met up w/ Alvin and we enjoyed a sunny Sunday afternoon drive past Calero and Uvas Reservoirs and up Hecker Pass Rd to the site of the Mt Madonna Inn. We then retraced our tracks back home. I was having fun in the corners w/ the recent suspension and brake updates.

Linda,

Want to meet you (as in I and my wife Dena would like to meet you). Are you going to Solvang next April.

I send this as I am trying to figure out photobucket on my iPad. Think I am making progress.

After a few minor adjustments, repairs and mods, off on my
first "bonding" drive in the 1500 today. Nice rare sunny NW Spring? day.
A nice long loop through the Snoqualmie valley. With DROPS member Don A. part of the way.
Conditions from snow up a few hundred feet to trees blooming along the Snoqualmie River.
Checked weight at a nearby I5 weigh station.
Pleased with 2020 lbs. Includes half tank of gas and the usual big load of tools and spares I carry in the trunk.
More testing soon for the trip to Solvang.
The 1500 is good fun to drive. Just must lower your performance expectations a tad from a 1600 or 2000
and especially my 66 KA. But it is all relative and the 155x80x13" tires (try finding these for sale!) limit your exuberance.
Check out these potential 2014 Calendar pictures.

Ted.

Beautiful sunny day and exactly what I needed to unwind! Thx Mike!

Here's a clip running up to Mt. Madonna Inn, listen for Solex sound! I could also notice that Mike was thoroughly enjoying his new shocks and sway bars as he fearlessly entered turns!

Saw an S30 at the top and also met a gentleman that knows of a 327-powered Datsun roadster in our neighborhood…I gave him the 311s address :D

Look forward to seeing all of you at Solvang.

Ted, still holding some hope for adoption.

Not a lot of hope, mind you, but some.

Ted... +1 for photo #3...just a great photo against those tree blossoms, and then a bonus video post with Alvin in a Sora Blue 67.5.

Thanks all for sharing.

Went up to see if they have opened Angeles Crest Hwy yet… Answer is no, they still have about 10 miles of the road closed..

Still a nice drive.. But I really didn't want to drive back into the sun..

Image

Don't block the snowplows.. Actually there was still some "snow" on the north faces up top..

Image

But the road down to Pasadena was beautiful with the sun down..
