Please look into having the shoulder harness installed properly with a horizontal bar that is about shoulder height.

If you get into an accedent with that set up your body would be pulled down forcing your legs up into the dash area
probably resulting in spinal injury.

Finally the roadster made it to the body shop for final sanding and paint!!!! I'll plumb brake and fuel lines, build remote battery mount and a multitude of other touches while waiting for it's return.

The body looks great from pictures .The great feeling when it ready for paint and look back at all the hard work up to that point is gratifing. What color are you painting it

It's going to be painted Ford Performance White. The body is super nice. The painter will do the final prime and block sanding to his satisfaction. Hopefully have it back in 2-3 weeks.

I was having trouble deciding which white I liked best, a Honda, Chrysler or the Ford. My wife and I were having lunch at a local pub when I noticed a white Honda, a white Chrysler and a white Mustang parked next to each other, (I think it was the work of the Roadster gods). Anyway, I chose the Ford as the white I liked best.

Got my carbs tuned up, seem to be doing nicely. Just purchased an air/fuel ratio monitor that I can't wait to use, once I get my exhaust set I will plug 'er in!

Tinted the glass, installed windows and regulators. Handles and latches tomorrow.

I have yet to fit my roll up windows.
Is there a secret or method to get the window track engaged with the regulator whilst juggling the glass into the door?

Oh, and you will have to remove the doors again to get the front guard fasteners into the "A" pillar

CKTRAP - did you get over the stumbling problem? Looking really good. When you get the exhaust installed, how about posting a video/audio of the new sound?

I was noticing the same thing. The lines are perfect in the pictures (transition from rear quarter to door, note the reflection and how it is unbroken). Getting the doors back on just right can be hard, especially with a 40 yr old car. I would mark the hinges really well, but you've probably already thought of that! That's what you get going black, you can't hide! Mine isn't there... Nice work.
