I drove 7 hrs on the freeway with the hardtop on the experience was great compared to a softop/topless. Don't think the top is coming off soon...but now i need to work out a hoisting/storage method just in case

Great looking top Alvin, and great picture of both together.
Lift/hoist/storage? I did this for a friend who had a windsurfer, where she could drive in underneath, hoist it up to the ceiling, then drive out, never had to lift the board onto the top of the SUV.
While I kluged it out of boat supply store pulleys, I think 2 of these mounted next to each other should work great:

Great idea - thanks Fergus! I'll need to do that for my Parrish top - it's ungainly to store to say the least.
Great looking top Alvin!
Cheers

Well unfortunately the weatherseal part numbers are NLA through JC Whitless
They directed me to Mcmaster Carr through a cross reference so I ended up buying there

Here's what I ordered:

2 10 ft. Part# 12335A74 Edge Grip Rubber Seal Bulb on Side, 1/16"-1/8" Edge, 61/64" Bulb Width $2.78 /ft.
3 10 ft. Part# 12335A71 Edge Grip Rubber Seal Bulb on Side, 7/64"-1/8" Edge, 3/4" Bulb Width $3.63 /ft.
4 10 ft. Part# 93085K68 Adhesive Back Foam Rubber Bulb Seal 3/4" Overall Width, 1/2" Overall Height $.96/ ft
I'll let y'all know how it works out.
Cheers

thanks for updating with part #s James!
looking forward to seeing the top finished
These are recent pictures of the seals I used for the side/rear windows and the front window-to-hardtop seal.
Also shown is the rear deck seal. windshield seal is straight from Dean and it is a softop part

Nice to see the top off your car Alvin - nice cart! I did not realize that you had the two tone lining - very nice.

If you click on the pic and zoom in you can see the strips of felt-line foam that the hardtop sits on. I put some microfiber towels in between the paint/foam just to be safe(not pictured). Sid I don't know the brand it looks like a generic cart. I just did a google search and it looks exactly like this one:

it comes with a cover I haven't tried it yet

Hello all, this might have been answered before...but I am trying to get a replacement seal for a 1970 high windshield hardtop (door, top to glass). It is a Snugtop, porthole, textured. Amazingly, I have searched and searched...with not good answers. Thanks for any help!

Last weekend I removed the hardtop. Usually I place carrier-supplied hardtop cover on my hardtop and park it in the garage. Last season this "cover" totally disintegrated. It left a mess.
To protect the hardtop while being stored I bought a hardtop cover off Amazon. It is for a BMW Z4:

It's ~$90 and it fits well, maybe a tad larger in width but perfect length:
I'll report how it holds up come this winter!

No worries, brother, I still have a dead wreath on my front door. Guess we San Jose people like being prepared.
