Can anyone tell me (could not find in the service manual) which side should be up? The thicker or flat part, or isn't it important? (fitment to the axle shaft). See the lumb?

The bleeder screw is toward the downward direction. Bad design for bleeding air but that's what Nissan did.

Yes, I know. But I mean the outer rear axle bearing flange. There is a hight difference. I put in the wrong picture, (changed now) now you can see at one side there is higher lumb than the other side on the flange. Which side of the flange should be mounted to the front or the rear of the car?

Your rear spring shackle is installed upside down. The spring should be above the rear frame bracket eyelet. It will sit too high in the back this way.

I did not know because my husband removed the rear and he was sure it must be something like this...But I already mounted them correct. It was too high but handy for offroading
