Upon opening I learned why...where I was expecting to find a set of Belleville springs, I found a complete set of...ummm...let’s say homemade shims?
There were 4 Miller Lite and 4 Budweiser shims per side, precision cut with what I am fairly certain were gardening shears. Why would you use shim stock or something durable when cheap aluminum rolled stock is so close to hand?

It is understandable if they came up with the idea AFTER consuming the beer, but if they thunk it up and then had to drink enough beer to get the right number of shims.....
I say "they" because - two different brands.

I removed the vinyl strips the PO installed on 00148.
He cut through the PAINT on the Drivers side

Seem to have a broken ground wire. Guess I'll just wrap bare wire around the socket and solder it together. That should work right?
