Wow, that's Great!!! Even though it is not "original" it should still give the cars more national exposure, and certainly will highlight Spriso's excellent work... can't pay enough for that kind of exposure. I would also like to say it is great that Michael is always so willing to share info on swaps n stuff even though he may get no direct income from it. That was a lot of RnD, time, expense and probably some blood... not everyone (anyone?) is always willing to share his knowledge when it is a business, but Michael is willing to do so and that to me makes him a true "Roadster person."

May your shop runith over with Roadster business Michael...

Thanks Greg-- that was quite a compliment!

I have always believed that sharing information about these swaps makes the community wiser as a whole. We have helped put dozens of roadsters back on the road with SR power, and that is something that I really believe in. I highly encourage others to do their own work (if they are capable), and feel that it is important to share our solutions to problems so one does not feel alone taking on such a huge task.

Yes, putting together build threads like this takes some time, but the rewards have been great with many people taking the time to come by and thank us for showing them how we build our cars.

I also believe in surrounding myself with amazing talent, such as this car's co-builder Eric Straw, and an amazing support group of very talented builders that are behind the scenes. Projects like this don't happen with just one person! Together we have built some amazing cars...

Michael-are the seat covers/head rests custom upholstered or are they vendor covers?
Thanks
Dan

The seat and head rests are a standard 67.5 upholstery kit from Dean at http://www.datsunparts.com

I have probably asked you before but is the rear trim surround polished or chromed?
I really like how it looks next to the paint and twistie/posties

It is Datsun 1500 Fairlady aluminum trim! It is one of the signature parts that we put on all the cars because it looks so good. On the darker cars it especially stands out (like on the example above!)

That trim was not found on the later 1600 roadsters as it was probably too expensive!
