Met up with dbrick at his home in NJ on Sunday, and Carl drove in from Watkins Glen (!) to meet up with us, also bringing wine. We had a great time hanging out and taking in the local street fair before I headed back in to NYC. Thanks to Dave and Carl for the meetup and the hospitality!

Had a great time. We need photos of the Datsun in Midtown Manhattan traffic!

Yo Scott I shot you a number to text or vmail me as you float down the coast.

Hoping to pull a few of us together, even if short notice, to say hey and hang.

Extremely cool !

May I nominate that you send something along for the 2014 Calendar?
Those frame grabs in NYC at night are certainly high quality enough.

Wonder how often a 311 tools through downtown anymore.

I sent the link for the photo gallery (here) along to gvpjared, so hopefully he'll like at least one of those. Car pics are all the way at the bottom.

Scott,
Thank you for making a Datsun-only gallery on the blog. I would seriously buy a calendar only if it had all of those pictures in it :D What an amazing journey with beautiful backgrounds. Those photos gave me goosebumps

So, since you seem to be looking for something to do, ever consider photography :D

Just when I thought Scott was MIA having too much fun in NYC, up pops a new post on the blog, proving that he is having too much fun in NYC. LOL

Linda
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Haha--it's just a hobby, although I'm trying to get better at it. I don't think anybody would give me actual money to do it at my current skill level, though. :)

I have to work on the "actual location vs. when I get a new post together" timing...I'm running about a week and a half or so behind when I actually leave a place vs. when the post goes up. NY was awesome, but since then I've been through eastern PA and have been in NJ for about a week now (mom's house, tackling the honey-do list).

In other blog news, I did get the photo gallery up (as noted in a previous post here, although it needs a little tweaking), and I finally updated the route map with the correct route, although I'd like the flesh that out a little more with some dates and maybe blog post locations or something. Also made the "Read from the Start" thing its own top menu item, as some people were having problems finding it. Still fun to work on, and I'm really glad folks are enjoying it. :)
