Good for you! I think you have the right offsets - with +12 and 195 tires they JUST rub on the insides on the back and have plenty of clearance on the outside. On the front w/ 195's I think you are perfect w/ +15ish

And YES you will need to mount longer studs. It's a PITA by the way because you have to take off the hubs then the rotors to press the studs in.

hey thanks for the confirmation, and theres a much easier way to do it than taking off the hubs and putting them on a press, this is the way we do all of them at our shop since most cars you cant just unbolt hubs like on the roadster, studs are actually made to press in like this

yes, I understand I'll have to take the rotor off to get the old studs out, but is there any reason the new ones cant be pulled through the normal way once resembled? And dont worry, I keep my face at least 4 1/2 inches away from machinery haha

You can not take the rotor off (or its much Harder) without taking the Hub off.

You can do the rears like the video, but for longer studs you may need to drill a hole in the backing plate.

One suggestion.....Use at least three washers after your spacers and grease them so the lug nut will be applying more tension and less torque.

The stud I use is not an exact replacement, so I also use a small knife file to cut the grooves a little deeper and add a little taper.

Ok I just purchased a set of 15x7 Rota RB's 4x114.3 with +12 off set. I am keeping the rear stock and may add the comp springs to the front if I hear back from Mike soon. what size tires will I need to purchase? I do not want to have to adjust or roll any fenders. I hear 195-50-15? how about 205-50-15?

You will have to roll fenders with 205's. You should roll them with 195's as well - but may be able to get away w/ not - depending on your car's body. All are different.

I ran 195-55's with my Rotas and Mike Young comp springs and I had to roll my front fender lips.

Im running 205's on my 16x7 Rota's. A fender roll for the rears was necessary. But I found its really only the drives side. Seems like every car Ive seen is closer on the drivers rear.

My car is closer on the passenger's side By about 3-5mm

I think you could loosen the bolts and "center" body....
Don't know if its worth the effort......LOL........

That's pretty close...don't know what the jig for the body assembly looked like or how close the tolerance they held during the assembly.

Yeah I thought about that Phil. I wasnt sure if just loosening the bolts would allow me to shift the body at all? Just a few MM would he a huge help --with tires that big, we are really spliting hairs. Anyone know if the body holes allow some wiggle room?

I think the two in the trunk have the least amount of wiggle room, as the nuts are captive in the frame. pull those two and see how much space you have common to the bolt and body hole.
The other 12 have some wiggle room.

How did they fit with stock springs, and with comp front springs? Based on this calculator

Its the offset that is the stickler is 3mm that much?
