If you want to run down in Marina, we have 2 events left this year. Oct 28 and Nov 11th. We will be run group 1 on the 28th, and 6 (last) on the 11th. If you want to come down, do so. I'm planning on running the roadster for both.

The last few things came in the mail today.

Took everything out to check them out and what do you know, looks like I have a shock to return.

Well, maybe if I get some konis I can send them all back.

Mistakes happen, maybe for the better.

"get some Konis..."
Wish I could have found a set. Guess a few have come back around but rather expensive, especially after getting the Gas-adjusts all around. Dean had the full sets front and rear, not sure if they are still available or not. I prefer them over the GR-2s, but each car is different, and I'm on comp springs and monoleafs in the rear. Just an FYI.

Silver is the new color I believe. No differences, just silver. I've heard different cars like different shocks also. These are the set from Dean, not to knock him this has been the only mistake that has happened out of a lot of orders with him. The rear brakes from him look awesome, the comp ones with a woven pad.

So me and my auto buddy got front suspension knocked out in one day. finished working with flashlights it took so long. new lower balljoints, tierod boots, shocks, Mike Young springs, Sway bar, and a whole lot of grease. Going to get tires and alignment tomorrow hopefully. last time they said I need to bring them the alignment specs so they can work from there. I think the info from the tech section should be enough.
anyways enjoy:

painted the lower arm

Can't wait. drove it for a test. felt very tight. but definitely Needs alignment, it was all over the place. It is a 23 mm sway bar, and the rear will eventually be lowered, but I have bigger plans before then. Might need new upper ball joints and spindles. but those are expensive.
Going to miss solvang this year

but I should have some fun money when I get back.

Wow, got new tires but no alignment

called a couple places and got it scheduled for tomorrow. Big0 tires didn't know how to put my numbers in for the car.

But the car felt loads better without half the front tires being bald. Small taste of what's to come.

Sounds like the auto parts stores - if it isn't in their computer, it does't exist...
