Those are sick Jack! I'd skip the brakes and Rotas just to run the Dunlops!
Yeah but look at those brakes :smt007

I have the Rotas in 16” a set of Panasport Zs in 15” and the Dunlops in 14”
I’ll try them all for fit when the car get here (the Dunlops might still fit) and run whichever I like best on the car

Here are a few suggestions to help you, and make this thread you created helpful:

1)Tell us your budget
2) Be specific about the type of wheel you want, ie beginning with "I want a wheel that is not commonly seen on a roadster" would have been sufficient
3) If you like a wheel you find, post it here so we can help you procure it and get the correct fitment
4) Avoid opinions on how wheels look, good or bad. It's YOUR roadster. You will be looking at it

Wheel choice should be a fun experience. As a wheel nerd, I enjoy the hunt.
seems like you should be addressing it to posters too, theyre the ones having opinions on whether wheels look good or not. I have posted the wheels I would be interested in procuring I dont have a budget per say, depending on how much I like the wheels will depend on how much im willing to spend.

Yes, a bit off-topic, but in general people are truly allowed to express their opinions. My advice is to just focus on what you want.

That is vague, and not really helpful imho. Give us a ballpark.

Let's take the SSR Mk1 that you are interested in. If a useable set was ~$800 would you buy it?
Yes? We are done!
No? Than we move on to other wheels. There are so many cool JDM/interesting wheels out there, at different price ranges.

There are also "replicas" of popular(or even discontinued) wheels. These are available new, at a fraction of the cost.

Sky is the limit here, and to really help you out now we need a little more than "I want a wheel not commonly seen". Do you like flat-faced surfaces? Deep dish barrels? Staggered fitment? Polished or dull surfaces? What size tire do you want to run, etc.

I like that style so I would be ok with replicas, my goal is 1-150 per wheel depending on shape they are in. I always liked the old school outlaw wheels but dont think I can get them in the size needed. thank you for the helpful post alvin

Ok got it.

The "centerline" style was very popular back in the day on our cars and others. So it shouldn't be a problem finding a set.

Enkei made a similar style, would this work for you?

If you like that style then you should go with the SSRs
1-they fit well
2-They look better
3-They're lighter
4-They keep their value as they're considered a classic (it's the wheel that really started it for SSR and the first real 3piece wheel on the market)
5-They're period correct having came out early 70s

here a nice set for a very good price considering condition

(the lug nuts wont fit wrong pitch for roadster )

Ahgrafx, this is a very cordial form and there is seldom discord amongst it's members. There are very divergent viewpoints here on what a roadster should look and drive like. No one has the final say. Everyone is welcome to his or her own interpretation. That being said, don't be surprised or offended if you propose something so off the wall that some feel that they just have to give you a reality check. You need not adhere to it, but you should not be offended either. Half the time when I grab something out of my closet my wife shakes her head in disbelief and gives me a reality check  nonetheless we've been happily married for 44 years :smt003

ahgraphx,
Enkei, (american racing as you posted), and Ultra Wheels all made an SSR MK1-like wheel. That is a flat face with no holes, and exposed mounting hardware:

Alvin, at 7" wide and zero offset, would he not have clearance issues?
