I'm also interested in the factory top, as well.
I recall a junkyard in Washington that listed a factory hardtop ($350) on ebay about a year ago. It needed some heavy work, but if we could track down the owner, maybe we could get detailed pictures and measurement.

The only top I would be interested in would be a factory or a GOOD factory replica. I am sure there is interest in the other options from other owners, but only the factory for me, thanks..
And thanks for taking this on!

Does anyone have good photos of the Nissan Factory Hardtop latches . also the top itself , high and low widshield tops
I saw these on ebay they were from a 67 with a port hole top . belive they are the side latches . We are trying to find out how the factory top was held down and what kind of latches were used
Thanks

A few from my archives:
OEM High Windshield Hardtop:
The factory parts manual has illustrations that show them too.
There are also a few threads on 311s.org that have additional photos and images.

That is a high windshield top, correct? Those latches will not work on a low windshield top.

Yes, that is a high windshield top. I think that the rear latches were common to both, but I am not sure.

I believe these were used on the 1500 hard tops-- I need to find the drawing that I have somewhere in my collection that shows them being attached.

Even factory hard tops came in different shapes.
