Indian valley road from San Miguel to Hollister..
Longer but more rewarding, Starting at SLO, 101 to 58E to 229N to 41E to 41/46E to Cholame Valley Rd to 1st st/Parkfield Coalinga rd to 198W to 25N/Peachtree rd/Airline Hwy to Hollister.. This route is about 210 miles from SLO to Hollister, so fill up and maybe bring a can of gas "just in case.."
PS: RCMike assumes no liability if someone is dumb enough to follow his directions.. and please print a map..

Has Parkfield Coalinga rd been paved all the way to 198 or is it still part dirt?

Part pretty smooth dirt.. You could always just stay on Cholame Valley Rd to 25, but then you would miss 198 which is gorgeous..

I am compiling a list of caravans to send out as a broadcast. If you want others to know about your runs to Solvang please email them so they can be added to the list. I already have the information on the Friday SoCal meet up at the Woodlake Bowl and information on the Sacramento/Salinas meet ups.
Any others?
Mostly I need the area coming from, the meeting location, the meeting time, departure time and route taken in case someone need to jump in along the way
I would like to send the list out by the end of this weekend.
Please email the information to
info@nostalgicdatsun.com
Thanks
Chris

I am looking to get into Solvang mid morning Friday with the wife and was thinking of hitting some of the local vineyards prior to the meet and greet later in the evening. I was thinking about heading out around noon for 2 or 3 hours and stopping at 2 or 3 of the local vineyards. Anyone game?
