NOW, a surplus of beds for the show.!!
Arnold agreed to share his room with me but now he can not attend.
SO I have his room with 2 beds!.
Anyone need a place to stay?, Split the cost. $99 a night plus tax for Friday and Saturday.
At the show headquarters, the Recreation Inn.

I just left the booking as is. The lady on the desk asked if you still needed a double,think you can down grade it to a single room for 89$ if you want.

Good news... I think I can swing it.
Bad news... Wont be taking the car it wont make it that far without some work.

Hey everyone,

Ill be emailing out a detailed info package to the registered people hopefully tonight but likely tomorrow.

In the meantime; Friday night meet and greet and unofficial swap meet(for those inclined) 7-9 pm at Orchard Park shopping centre parking lot that runs along Harvey Avenue.

Put the giant Canadian flag at about 9:00 o'clock, the shopping centre at 6:00 and the McDonalds across Harvey Avenue at 12:00 o'clock and you're in the right area. If you see a Datsun, you're probably in the right place.

Cars to be parked adjacent to Harvey Avenue (a.k.a highway 97) to hopefully catch the eye of other Datsun owners just happening by.

Hope you guys have fun! Wish I could make it.

a bunch of us are meeting at exit 99 (Whatcom Road) near Abbotsford at 10 am Friday morning on the Trans Canada. .

8:00 –9:00 Car show roll-in (registered / registering vehicles only)*.

Please arrive early to ensure the Datsuns (and in your case the 510s) are all grouped together.

8:00 Knox Mountain Hill Climb Opening Ceremonies at Start Line
9:00 Gates Open to Public**
9:10 First Practice Run
11:00 First Official Run
3:00 Datsun Matsuri car show voting ends
4:45 Racing ends
6:00ish Group Dinner (Location TBA) for those interested

*All individuals must sign a waiver with the race organizers to enter the Knox Mountain Hill Climb grounds.
**Passengers / spectators $10 per day or $15 for weekend pass to Knox Mountain Hill Climb organizers.
***No dogs permitted on the grounds

For those of you with smartphones and all that, if you follow me/us on FB and Twitter you will be able to get random updates as the weekend progresses.
