Way to go!!! Piss me off!!! I should have been watching the live stream instead of the TV Coverage!!! Did anybody record it?
That is awesome that it pulled $30k. That has to be near a record for a 69!

Is that what it finally went for? That's GREAT!!
Just checked the site, it says $33K, so the $38 mentioned must include the buyers premium.
I think someone overpaid, but still a good showing nonetheless.
I was only off by $30K.

Actually yea but in the end not really, remember he has to pay a commision, he gets maybe 28 to 30K afterwards. But, it does bring attention to our cars, and he did get double what the Z's got.

What does this say about us if we are supposed to be the guys who know, or at least more than average, and our best guess was $10k off the mark... Hmmmm...
I'd say the secret is definitely out...

Unofficial Results -
At $17 500.00, Datsun1500 was the closest actual guess. Phil had already guessed 7 times when he said he hoped it went for $19995.00. So, actually, if we take the sale at $33k, closest bid was out by $15 500.00.
Remind me not to ask you guys for advice on roadster prices... sheesh. (I was only out by $21 500.00)

This is fantastic news. I'm thrilled that it went for what it did. We should all be thrilled it went for what it did. I'm thrilled to have been wrong on my thought that it was the wrong venue for a good sale. It just goes to show that the demand for them is increasing.
