It was impatience that got me into this problem in the first place. Thanks for the encouragement and I'll give it a try. Yes, I have spent plenty of time following a wire and testing for continuity so I'll just jump in again and try.

Put my RU1620 radiator today with $26 lower hose. 1600 bottom, 2000 top. I have cardboard on it to protect the fins.

Did some surgery to cut out PO sins and restore beauty at the vertical wall between the trunk and rear shelf. Joy!

Did you fabricate those panels? Wow ! Serious dedication .
The days of the cursed “6x9” speakers of the ‘70.
Long live the ‘8-track ‘.

I measured the crud out of the panel and drew it up in cad. Sent it to an online shop which makes sheet metal parts from the drawings. Includes laser cutting, bending, nut inserts, plating, coatings, etc. It's SendCutSend.com. I've used them several times. No setup charge, free shipping, etc.
If you need the same panels, it is just the push of a button now. Happy to help.

For priming do you run the drill CW or CCW? Seems I read a few years ago CCW?

I as well have the original 3 bolt main. I was under the impressions that it is not a good ideal to strock the 3 bolt main motor. Is this myth, or doable.
I believe that I should be able to stroak and have more reliable engine yet use the latest year enging with 5 bolt main.
Groups thoughts?

Well you can look at Steve Allen's thread about his 1840cc build.
1500 crank in 3 main. his is more extreme than mine. Mine is just for cruising. I also have a 5 main with the H20 crank for 2000cc. Go put a few more parts on now. Got the crank pulley bolt torqued yesterday.

Got my 10 new stainless steel door handle springs, $12.41. Just slightly stiffer. Put in the size on ebay and they make them. Ordered out of China.
