Sidedrafts are SO much easier to change jetting on vs. downdrafts...
Looks amazing Garm. How many more break in miles?
Keep up the great work.

For me it's been mostly Weber 32/36's, 38/38's and 40/40's.

The car feels and sounds great. Its got plenty of get up and go. It doesn't hurt that it lacks an airfilter sound wise however. Throttle response is crisp, and the power is instantaneous. You nail the throttle and it just goes. From coasting to flat on the floor, no hesitation, it just jumps down the road.

It was a fun trip down that way, certainly better than hanging around my mothers place doing nothing.
I'm glad I was able to help.

Will

Should I swap to "2000" emblems, or leave it at "1600-ish"?

How bout a decal "2litre"? prolly have to be a double layer decal, to match the 1600 emblem.

It's a 2000, not a stroker right? So I'd say 2000. Just the 4 speed on the 1600 side.
Plenty of H20s in cars and nobody puts "forklift" on the sideHaHa

I was actually thinking about adding a fork to the grille of my H20-powered car...

haha, thanks that was fun!
"1600-ish" seems to be the keeper moniker, so it's staying for now.

Time for some gauges!
