I was taking apart the console in preparation for installing the new cover I got from Dean, and discovered these old Famous Players movie ticket stubs. Were movies ever only $1.75?

Used to go to a lot of movies with the previous owner, then married her for her roadster

I hate to break it to you Bruce, but if you don't remember movies being $1.75, then she went with some other guy. LOL!!

(yesterday) I replaced the tach in my 70 1600. sounds like a small project but I pulled a seat and the steering column (since my hands are so big it was easier for me to pull the column than try to work around it) and I replaced the stock bulbs with LEDs:

Oh Yea, almost done with the engine as well....just need to do a few wires....

Recurved the dizzy yesterday. Runs much better at idle!

Then drove it to my dentist appointment, and upon returning to the car, had some old lady tell me that she wanted to ball it up (my car) and take it home with her. Interesting.

Installed a new clutch master and slave. Also cleaned the front wheel bearings. Getting closer to getting this thing on the road!

Replaced a worn clutch master cylinder with a new Beck Arnley one. Whatever one the previous owner had in there was seemingly too tall, so now my hood shuts properly.

I had the right front calipers overhauled. It was leaking brake fluid after a Sunday run. Luckily the mechanic was free that morning. I also got to tune the carbs...was running lean before. Now, the plugs are pretty much tan/light brown in color rather than white. Camber and alignment was also done in preparation for the vintage race coming up in the next few weeks :D

I FINALLY took my roadster paperwork to AAA to get the title moved over and get antique plates on it. Should be on the road in less than three weeks!
