Nothing you wouldn't see every year when they close off Santa Monica Blvd for the parade.

How's it going on those new entertaining pictures, Garm? 8)

Business is pretty intense this week, plus the rain, haven't had time to get Spike out and run him....

....but i happened to be in Burbank last night, and I happened to see a For Sale sign, and I happened to call the guy....

...... so I bought a '74 Ford Courier -- rusty little shop truck, and (omg) same color as Spike!

Will Campbell went out of his way and came over to the shop yesterday. Changed out my jets on the Mikunis and got the car tuned perfectly. Wow, what a beast. Pulls all the way til I chicken out - no soft spots in the throttle at all. There was a couple of degrees of timing to be had as well. Plugs look spot on. Zoom Zoom!

Carbs came with:
Pilots - 55
Fuels - 135
Airs - 150

Replaced with:
Pilots - 57.5
Fuels - 155
Airs - 180

A few pics forthcoming

And for those of you remembering the discussion about cars with Dean's springs + the comp oil pan, and whether or not that combo passed the "dollar bill test".

... it passes the HUNDRED dollar bill test! (lower than stock diameter tires as well)

Yippie! If she sounds anything like Will's and the other guys car on the video, I can relate! Glad to hear she's coming together. I'm getting the bug! Motor pull soon...

You can really see how little room there is for decent filters too.
