if you have all the parts laying around that are needed for the sr20 or ka swap, is it feasible to complete the whole swap in a weekends time?
(especially the ka, since no notching is required?)

You're kidding, right? I haven't done this swap yet, but other swaps (even easy upgrades) seem to stretch out minimum of several months of working most every weekend/evening...
But maybe you're much faster than me...

If you rented the "jig" from spriso, that would save you many, many hours worth of time. Do you weld? I think it is possible.

The driveshaft is as easy as taking your 1600 drive shaft down to a drive shaft shop, and having them shorten it to fit-- the yoke diameter and spline count is the same as the 5-speed SR gearboxes. They will also want to cut the dust shield off of the yoke at the same time... $75 and you are out the door at my local shop.
As for wiring, I provide wiring schematics with the DVD that comes with my kit. I have also posted schematics for my relay box on this site several times before. Since there are quite a few variations of roadster harness, we don't have a master schematic. But the basic layout is the same as illustrated here:
Here is the Nissan relay layout (which is what I use), but you could use standard Hella relays if you wish:
I have a lot of other diagrams on my DVD, but this should give you and idea how the wiring is connected between the EFI harness and the roadster.
Let me know if you have any other questions,

Seat heater? You mean parking with the top down and the seats not folded so that the sun makes them blistering hot? LOL!!

As far as pictures, yes there are pictures in this thread, try using a different browser - I suggest Mozilla/Firefox.

Nice, it's becoming the "standard" motor upgrade for this car.

Its funny to see that this thread was started 6-years ago, and SR powered roadsters are even more popular today.
Bob changed hands after a few years, and the new owner is a huge Nissan/Datsun guru. If you are lucky, you can see it tearing up the hills near San Diego.
I tried to get this car back for a close customer of mine, but there was no way the new owner was going to let go of the keys, he is having way too much fun!
