Hi Andy,
If you would like to write the text for the Fairlady we would be very
greatful. Many of our articles have been written by visitors to the site,
and naturally authorship is attributed to anything published on site unless
the author requests otherwise. We make every effort to double check our
facts prior to publication but, given the large number of cars we cover,
mistakes can be made. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Subject: Erroneous information on your site
Your description of the Datsun Fairlady Roadster is quite erroneous. The
car never came with a 90hp motor or a 145 hp twin cam. It was also designed
and produced prior to the introduction of the MGB. Your description hints
that it is a copy of the MGB but it actually predates the MGB. It also had
very good handling and was one of the most successful race cars of the era.
Please check the facts about this car and review the write-up on your
website. Please check the following site for specifications:
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/3823/index.html
Please chec the following site for racing heritage:
http://www.datsun.org/fairlady/intro.htm
Thanks,
Andy Cost

My dream machine is an R32 GTR. Well, after my sporty of course. But the skyline is a "practical family car", meaning it has 4 seats.
One day I'll get rid of the Taurus (oops, did I say that out loud?

Nearly all the Datsun content from that website is a direct cut and paste from Alan's Early Datsun website. He's contacted them several times about attribution, but they haven't done it.
About the only bit he didn't do is the Fairlady write-up. That's why it's wrong!
