Check the fuel valves, they could be worn out or broken

oh man , where did I say " diamond kinda thing ". this has been so long I don't remember now ..

but another quick question ..
is 90 psi on all 4 cylinders ok ? seems low ? after 5 cranks it's at 90psi .
fuel is fixed . that got things moving I guess . I see it dumping out the back carb .
then I checked for spark . all good .
now I'm on compression and it's 90 throughout.
anyway still no fire up but gas is moving . they said at car quest I don't need fuel injection fuel lines . is that true ?

Check the diagram for the carbs to see the fuel valves , they are in the fuel bowl lids.
Anything not sealing or dumping fuel is “playing with fire”... keep a fire extinguisher handy

That vapor lock valve is probably not an issue unless it is leaking

oh those ! how to check ? me what I've done to check them was
blow down the fuel line while pushing slightly on the float lever pushing the needle valve stopping everything . then let go and it flows again .. is that the way to check them or is there something else I need to do ? needle valve I call it , got ya .. and that's a vapor lock valve in that diamond shaped thing on the back carb ? ok cool . good to know . . idk what caused it still or if it's fixed back to normal . but it's starting and reving the motor seems to not sputter But .. I've been here before .. so test drive time and we'll see if it's gotten better now . ugh . ok quit stalling Lorna and go .... afraid to because then I loose hope that it's fixed because it won't be and I'll deflate again ..... haha ok bye bye #geterdone

update on the issue :

it was ............... drum roll please , ..................

............ fuel pump ! yep . I've pulled it out and in the back of it had oil and fuel smelled like oil .
changing oil today and fixing pump and reinstall . it must have been off and on working or something because I've checked it in the past ,, but whatever . I just hope it fixes this running lean thing that's going on ...... anyway . this should fix my stripped out float bowls .. haha jk . those r fixed now . ok ,over and out !

Did you rebuild the pump...valves, diaphram, rubber gasket?
Those parts can wear out dumping gas into the oil.
And leak gas from the bottom of the pump

I thought I did but it's needing more than I had usable newer rubber . valves we're good but I ended up ordering a new one because it's cheaper than a rebuild kit . so I'm waiting on that to show now .. thanks for the information ..
