Does your radiator have the expansion hose coming out of the top of the radiator or out of the neck?
Mine is on top of the radiator, the cap does not have a pressure release, I run a 13 psi cap on the expansion tank.
You may just have air in the system.

Thanks Bob. Yes, mine looks similar to yours. I snapped these before I left for work this morning.

and when I was taking the photos, I noticed what looks like a little coolant on the upper radiator hose at the water neck:

I wonder if that's where it's actually coming from. I'll see about getting any air out of the system and maybe I ought to replace the hoses.
