I don't think you will be able to achieve that with a U20, at least on paper. Roadsters will feel "faster" especially with the top down...but l28s with triples usually put out almost 180whp.

While I know Kevin and Michael's work is first rate, I would not condone someone's conversion just because its different without seeing detailed pictures.
IIRC. there have been some swaps with more of the front cross member cut away.....usually for rack and pinion steering.
He did add a brace behind the oil pan.....it always scares me the way the frame is notched for the alternator.
There are lots of American muscle cars with light weight K frame conversions and I would assume the forces are much greater.

The car Michael posted is going to need some serious work cleaning up the mess, but can be fixed.
