Great to each and every one of you, meet Greg and Adam for the first time, and glad that you could join in for a portion of any of it.
Weather and roads were wonderful, no breakdowns (for me at least), always some new roadster maintenance projects to go on the list.
Eclectic bunch of machinery and people, interesting collection of almost show quality mixed with WorkInProgress, all being flogged.
Fun had by all. The catered meals were excellent as always too.
I'll let ya know whent he next one is on the list. While I am not going, the Targa California was mentioned by several, it is in November and out towards Borrego Springs.
take care, drive fast, check fluids.
Fergus

That was a lot of fun! Next year I hope to do the full 2 days. The number of Datsun Roadsters was impressive. We far outnumbered any other make or model. We had 4 at the start (5 in spirit -- really sorry about your car, Peter) and 2 more out on the roads (with Linda WAY out front -- also sorry our timing was a bit off.) Runner up was Porsche with 4 -- a 911, 912 and 2 914s. I think that says something about this forum and this group.
Heading out...

At Angeles Crest crest...

Pic links have started rolling in. More to follow (this is a really unusual set, but that is coming from someone who took almost none, so no complaining)
The variety was superb.

And finally (and then I'll shut up for a while).
'Cept for I may possibly opt to run the hardtop next year, to see what it is like (and to bring along my oldest daughter, especialyl if it falls on Columbus Day again)
Here are some links forwarded among the participants, check them and see what you were missing...
